A project management simulation that accurately models how work actually works. Complete a ticket. Watch it multiply. Discover what your sprint velocity really looks like.
The Ticket Hole is a sprint planning simulation built on a simple observation: completing work generates more work. Unlike other productivity tools, The Ticket Hole does not pretend your backlog will shrink. It models the reality that every resolved ticket surfaces two more that were hiding behind it.
We built The Ticket Hole because we kept seeing the same pattern in our own sprints. Velocity would spike on Monday. By Wednesday, the backlog was larger than when we started. By Friday, the retrospective was mostly silence. We thought: what if we made that a product?
Completing work generates more work. Just like your actual job. Our ticket generation algorithm is calibrated against real sprint data. We did not have to exaggerate.
Most tools only show positive velocity. We show the truth. The velocity graph trends downward because velocity trends downward. This is not a display error.
There is no winning condition. There is only the work. The Ticket Hole will never tell you "you're all caught up" because that has never been true for anyone.
Drag tickets through Backlog, To Do, In Progress, and Done. Watch Done spawn Backlog. The board is a visualization of entropy. It is also interactive.
When the board becomes unmanageable, declare bankruptcy and start fresh. The backlog resets. The lesson doesn't. This is our most-used feature.
No sign-up. No onboarding flow. No welcome email sequence. You open it and you're in the hole. The onboarding is the hole.
Click any ticket to complete it. Observe what happens next.

"I showed this to my team lead during sprint planning. He stared at it for four minutes and then cancelled the retro."— Engineering Manager, Series B startup
"The Ticket Hole predicted my actual sprint velocity more accurately than our real project management tool."— Senior Developer
"I've been using it for three weeks and my real backlog feels manageable by comparison. I think that's the point."— Product Manager
